Whether converting from Deltek® System 1 / GCS Premier™, or many of the other enterprise system to Costpoint, we have the know-how to get you where your organization converted on time and within budget. Our experience in data consulting has been developed with over ten years of hands-on, managerial and director level experience in ALL aspects of data conversion.

Our consultants have in depth knowledge and experience with Deltek® System 1 / GCS Premier™ and converting data to Costpoint. We have through understanding of both systems from a user and a “behind the scenes” aspect. We have led Deltek’s® most critical conversions; some involving multiple Deltek® System 1 / GCS Premier™ directories into a single Costpoint database. We not only know how to convert the data, but we worked to develop the Deltek® System 1 / GCS Premier™ to Costpoint utilities, the main tool that the Deltek® products use in conversion. Kinetek has optimized the data conversion process with electronic tools that compliment the conversion utilities, reducing time and expense and increasing accuracy, while streamlining the reconciliation process.

We have vast experience converting other enterprise solutions to Costpoint. We have converted Oracle Financials®, PeopleSoft®, Lawson Software®, MAS 90™, MAS 200™, Wind2™, Platinum, CGC, Peachtree™ as well as “home grown” accounting systems. We will work with your staff and other software vendors to develop the optimum migration path to Costpoint. With our experience in other systems, we offer our data conversion expertise for other non Deltek® migrations.

Many companies have found value from converting third party auxiliary systems such as Abra Suite® (human resources solutions from Best Software), FAS® Solutions (fixed asset tracking form Best Software) and Avanté™ (materials management solutions from Epicore Software™ Corporation) to the appropriate Costpoint modules. We have converted each of these products, bringing the same quality of conversion and reconciliation to compliment your enterprise solution.

One of the biggest challenges is restructuring data within Costpoint, as well as Time Collection, after the codes have been charged against. Changing the underlying structure of the accounts, organizations, projects, employees, vendors or fiscal years requires the extreme knowledge of the systems configuration and tables, and we have successfully changed them all. We also have the unique success of merging two existing Costpoint databases into one.

We can provide conversion of just a few master tables, such as employee or projects. This is especially useful after a merger between organizations, acquisition, or winning a contract that requires immediate start-up.

We support you all the way through the conversion process. We don’t leave when the data is loaded, we make sure that you know how to use the data and that it is reconciled.
