John Schintzel has over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, contract management and administration in the private sector serving the government, commercial, non-profit, construction and utility industries. John is a partner and an integral part of the Kinetek service delivery component as well as member of its’ business development team. John has a diverse background in the areas of accounting and finance, cost accounting, project management and business intelligence.
John specializes in software configuration, implementations, training and business process re-engineering. John has worked extensively in industries such as aerospace, military, non-profit, systems integration, utilities, software development and construction. This experience allows John to provide customers with software based solutions to facilitate successful and timely implementations.

Prior to Kinetek, John’s background included early work with General Physics Corporation and was involved in their conversion from a mainframe accounting system to Deltek Systems System I accounting software as well as a contract administrator for their commercial sector. From there, John worked at ICF Kaiser as a contract administrator administering a large multi-million dollar EPA contract. John’s next stop was The Orkand Corporation where he held the position of Cost Accounting Manager. John was responsible for converting their manual Job Cost system to Deltek’s System I accounting software. John was also a member of a special project team that was involved in system conversions, complex contract reporting requirements, and business process enhancement all utilizing Deltek Systems System I accounting software.
 
Most recently, John held the position as Director of Client Services for the Western Region for Deltek Systems, Inc. In his role, John was responsible for implementations, resolving client issues and ensuring all Managing Consultants met proper implementation requirements. In his seven years with Deltek, John had a 100% success rate in exceptional client satisfaction and implementations. John was able to use his extensive experience in accounting and finance, software configuration and business processes to provide his customers with a superior solution using a high end enterprise level software. John’s extensive experience as both a user and an implementer allows him to give clients valuable insight into how to configure software and how to operate efficiently in their respective markets.
